Interactive Desk
An interactive university library desk design concept, designed during a 36 hour pressure project.
The desk houses a smart computer with curved touch screen display. Using RFID sensors the computer recognises students profiles and adapts to their specific account.
In less than 2 days our team designed the desk and computer interface, produced 3D printed models using CAD software and constructed a 1:2 scale prototype of the desk from MDF and acrylic.
Our product was the winning concept at the University of Dundee Hackathon 2015.
