Martial Arts Demonstration

After filming an interview at the Recovery Centre with a volunteer in the morning, I headed out to Invergordon again to capture an event taking place at their weekly drop in session.

The drop in session allows different service users from the Easter-ross area to come down to the centre and take apart in a weekly activity, have a cup of tea and generally socialise with some of the other individuals.

This week there was a martial arts demonstration from an expert in the industry. Putting on a show that was really exciting, for service users and I to witness. The expert also got many of them involved in the demonstrations and explained how we should defined ourselves on a self-defence basis.

I believe activities like these where the different members get to see each other and speak about what they have been up to in their week, are invaluable to their recovery.
