A Scottish Wedding Film

Really excited to start shooting today. Today's wedding is being filmed in the beautiful setting that is; Cummnock and New Cummnock.

This morning I will be filming David and his groomsmen as they take on a quick round of golf at the lochside hotel (pictured above) before returning to the lodge to capture them put the finishing touches to their outfits. Then its off to visit the bride to be and her bridesmaids as they make themselves looking gorgeous.

Then its across to the church; the afternoon traditional service will be at Cummnock Baptist church with around 100 guests attending in Scottish national attire. Filming the church ceremony; introduction, readings, vows and that ever important first kiss.

After the service its across to New Cummnock to capture the guests arriving at the reception venue which will be at the Lochside hotel and Spa (Pictured above). Into the speeches then to sit down with a meal, before finishing up with cutting the cake, the first dance and of course that special Scottish treat; a traditional ceilidh dance. Finally its shots of a disco as the bride and groom are the first to leave.

Something David and Kirstin have asked for is interviews with the Groomsmen and bridal party which i'm really looking forward to. hopefully give their finished videos a nice touch.
